The injured elephant was standing in the river. The photo was posted on Facebook by Indian Forest Officer Mohan Krishnan.
The elephant came to the locality from the forest. The baby was in the womb. The elephant ate the pineapple in front of him in search of food. But some people filled that pineapple with fireworks. It exploded in the elephant's mouth. Standing in a river, the helpless injured elephant fell to its death.

The tragic death took place in Palakkad district of Kerala, India on Wednesday, May 26. Through this, the issue of human cruelty towards wild animals has come to the fore anew. The brawl has started through various media and social media.
According to Indian media NDTV, a local forest official in Kerala posted a status on Facebook describing the incident.

Mohan Krishnan, a forest official, said the elephant had come to the locality in search of food. The locals usually set a trap inside the pineapple with firecrackers to stop the wild boar. It is believed that the elephant ate such a pineapple. It later exploded in the elephant's mouth. The elephant was seriously injured. Later, the elephant died while standing in a nearby river.

Mohan wrote, ‘The elephant believed everyone. When the pineapple exploded in his mouth, he must have cringed in pain. But she thought more of her unborn child than of herself. The elephant was supposed to give birth in the next 18 to 20 months.

Local forest officials tried to save the elephant. Mohan Krishnan was a member of the Rapid Response Team.

Local forest officials say the elephant's tongue and the inside of its mouth were severely damaged when firecrackers exploded inside its mouth. The injured elephant could not eat anything. Unsettled by the pain of the mouth wound and the burning of hunger, the elephant wandered around the surrounding village a lot. But he did not attack Manush even once.

Mohan writes, ‘The elephant ran on the village road in pain a few times. But he did not attack any people. Not a single house was hit. '

Later, the elephant took refuge in the nearby Velia river. The elephant is seen standing in the river in various pictures taken by forest officials. It is thought that the elephant may have taken refuge in the river to get some relief from the unbearable pain in his mouth. The elephant later died there.

Meanwhile, the incident has started a brawl across India. Many have expressed their anger on Twitter and Facebook. Many are sharing a portrait of the elephant. A Twitter user criticized, "Literacy rate is not a reflection of real education." Bollywood actor Randeep Huda has demanded legal action against those responsible.

Forest officials said they could find out about the injured elephant on May 25. Later on May 26, the elephant died. Police have started an investigation into the incident locally. However, it was not possible to arrest anyone guilty.
