Climate change is having an adverse effect on nature. There are many natural disasters in the world including fires and floods. The temperature is rising. July this year was the warmest month in history. According to the US Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
According to the BBC, July was not the hottest month on earth. Along with this, the sea surface temperature has also been taken into account. In the twentieth century, the average surface and sea surface temperature was 15.6 degrees Celsius. Last July, the temperature was minus 93 degrees Celsius higher than the average temperature.
This temperature record started for about 142 years. Earlier, the highest temperature was recorded in July 2016. The temperature in 2019 and 2020 was equal to the temperature in 2016. Last July, the temperature was 0.1 percent higher than in 2016. Experts speculate that the long-term effects of climate change will increase these temperatures. The NOAA also expressed concern over the rise in temperature.
NOCA Administrator Rick Spinard said in a statement, "This record of temperature indicates that climate change has created chaos in the world."
According to the NOAA, the highest temperature recorded in 2012 was in the Northern Hemisphere. But last July, the temperature was recorded at 1.54 degrees Celsius higher than that record. In addition, July was the warmest month in the history of Asia. And it was the second warmest month in Europe after 2016. The United Nations, meanwhile, said in a report last week that climate change was having an "unprecedented" impact on the world.
The UN report said temperatures had risen faster than at any time in the 50 years since 1980. Temperatures have not risen so fast in the last 2,000 years.
