The search for the mysterious substance before the birth of the sun
The earliest solid matter found on the earth has been found before the birth of the sun. About 500 million years ago, the substance was supposed to melt or evaporate, but it did not. It is still difficult.
The traces of that rare substance have been found in a meteorite that struck northern Mexico 51 years ago. The name of the meteorite is 'Allende'. In February 1969, Allende crashed into the Earth. The earliest solid in the universe is called pre-solar grains.
The fuzzy white matter was in the groove of the meteorite. But it was not possible to know what it was made of. And that's why the substance was named 'Curious Marie'. In memory of two-time Nobel Prize-winning chemist Marie Curie.
It is known that the substance in Allende's groove is actually a compound of calcium and aluminum metals. And it contains a compound of silicon and carbon-silicon carbide. Which is in a difficult state from beginning to end. Which was created in the universe before the birth of the sun? At least 500/550 crore years ago from today.
A study from the University of Washington in St. Louis gave this news. The study was published in the international science journal Nature-Astronomy.
The meteorite Allende, which struck Earth 51 years ago, is housed in the Pritzker Center for Meteoritics and Polar Studies at the Chicago Field Museum.
"Some places in the nebula before the birth of our sun may have had temperatures that could last for hundreds of billions of years after the formation of solid-like silicon carbide," said lead researcher Pravdivhatsevar. This means that not all of the solids that were born before the sun melted or evaporated at extreme temperatures.
